This is our second bearing design. The first all metal shields were super fast, and very durable. But our team riders kept asking for removable shields so they can do a deep clean and get back to rolling fast.
No matter how tight the tolerances are on a metal shield bearing, dirt will get inside. You can clean them with 3-1 oil. It just takes time to rinse out the dirt that gets inside.
We made our new BLANCHE bearings with removable shields. Making it super easy to clear out the dirt and get back skateboarding in no time.
These abec 9 bearings are packaged in a hinged metal tin.
As with our original bearings, we include spacers and washers in the case.
Run your bearings with both and they will last longer and roll faster.
